There’s nothing or very little that is new in the world;
The important thing is the different and new position
In which an artist finds himself considering and seeing the
things of so-called nature and the works That have
preceded or interested him.
The purpose of art engaging with life is not merely to exist alongside life,
but more importantly to illuminate it.
Sculpture and public art are always open to diverse interpretations and expressions.
All works you see are far more than mere “objects”.
Of course, they need to be viewed with eyes, yet not simply looked at superficially —
they require listening to their narratives, and exploring and experiencing with heart.
Exhibits in this show are created by
art consultants and designers of Yifeng Sculpture.
It features a series of easel sculptures and video works,
including wood sculptures, metal sculptures and ceramic sculptures.
The modeling language of the works covers both figurative realism and modern abstraction.
“No matter what materials we use,
we need craftsmanship, creativity and even poetic sentiment,
to turn materials into works of art filled with love.”

With abstract modeling language, the works depict Chinese women of different eras —

The fine virtues and noble spiritual aura of Chinese women
are vividly revealed through the works.
Unique aesthetic perception forms metaphysical aesthetic characteristics.
Lu Xun, 800×450mm, Pottery
Created by designers of Yifeng Sculpture,
Lu Xun adopts high‑temperature pottery clay with the molding technique of fragmentation and reconstruction.
It elevates the image of Lu Xun, rooted in the context of his era,
into a spiritual pillar embodying the spirit of breaking the old to establish the new.
Landscape, 650×250mm, Mirror‑polished Stainless Steel
Landscape three‑dimensionalizes abstract landscapes from ink‑wash art in traditional Chinese aesthetics.
Made of highly modern mirror‑polished stainless steel,
it shapes a poetic world embracing all things.
It represents the modern application of oriental aesthetics,
and embodies the artistic ideal of echoing the artistic conception of mountains and waters.
Wu Qiliang, Wang Yangming, 650×230mm, High‑strength Gypsum
Wang Yangming is the culminating master of the School of Mind.
Adopting figurative and realistic molding techniques,
this portrait presents his sage‑like virtues and bearing.
The walking posture fully reveals his unrestrained and elegant temperament as a great ideological master.
With a benevolent yet resolute facial expression,
the highest realm of figurative creation is to shape “form” through “spirit”,
and the supreme principle of figure sculpting lies in the perfect integration of form and spirit.
