Strategic Cooperation Between Hebei Academy of Fine Arts and Yifeng Sculpture
On April 30, 2024, Ningbo Yifeng Sculpture Co., Ltd. received Zhen Yalei, Secretary of the General Party Branch and Dean of the School of Sculpture and Public Art, Hebei Academy of Fine Arts, as well as full‑time faculty members Zhang Long and Qu Tian from the Public Art Department, for a grand meeting ceremony held under the framework of the "Enterprise Visits for Employment Expansion" initiative.
Forum Scene
Ye Feng, General Manager of Yifeng Sculpture, held in‑depth discussions with the delegation from the School of Sculpture and Public Art. Both sides engaged in extensive deliberations on future talent cultivation, project cooperation and resource sharing, and reached a consensus in the end.
During the forum, General Manager Ye Feng elaborated on the company’s development history and core businesses, highlighting Yifeng Sculpture’s professional standing in the fields of sculptural art and urban beautification. Driven by technological advances and shifting market demands, the sculpture industry is undergoing a critical period of transformation and upgrading. She pointed out that the key challenge lies in integrating modern technologies such as digitalization and artificial intelligence to innovate traditional sculpting craftsmanship while preserving the cultural value and aesthetic appeal of artworks. This calls for joint efforts by universities and enterprises to cultivate skilled professionals equipped with emerging competencies, so as to advance the sustainable development of the whole industry.
Zhen Yalei, Secretary of the General Party Branch and Dean of the School of Sculpture and Public Art, introduced the school’s basic profile, educational philosophy, and achievements in fostering innovative talents in sculpture and public art. He emphasized that the "Enterprise Visits for Employment Expansion" activity aims to strengthen ties with industry enterprises, provide students with internship and employment opportunities, and align the school’s educational resources with corporate needs. The Dean expressed optimism about the prospects of university‑enterprise cooperation, noting that such collaboration can enhance students’ practical capabilities and innovative thinking, further boosting disciplinary and industrial progress. He looked forward to jointly exploring new paths for the integration of art and technology through this partnership, to cultivate more outstanding art talents for society.
Following the forum, the university delegation toured the company’s exhibition hall under the guidance of Yifeng Sculpture’s management. The exhibition hall showcased a series of projects and artworks combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design concepts, alongside the enterprise’s history, cultural philosophy and landmark projects, with special emphasis on its endeavors and achievements in inheritance and innovation.
Through this enterprise‑visit activity, Yifeng Sculpture and the School of Sculpture and Public Art formally signed a university‑enterprise cooperation agreement and held an awarding ceremony.
